Brian Kelly, Head Coach, Notre Dame FootballIn 2010, Coach Kelly challenged 2,500 Notre Dame alumni, parents, and friends to show their support with a gift of any size. Due to the tremendous enthusiasm of donors, the initial goal was surpassed and the bar was raised to 5,000 donors. In total, over 5,500 people generously contributed to the University of Notre Dame through the efforts of the Coach Kelly Challenge.
The Kelly Cares Foundation was established by the Brian and Paqui Kelly family to support organizations, initiatives and programs that closely align with the goals and values of the Kelly family in three main areas: personal involvement, with an emphasis on breast cancer research, prevention, education, and awareness; educational and institutional advancement; and, community involvement.
Last year over 5,500 donors signed up to support the Coach Kelly Challenge. This year we want to top that number.
